Chester Cho worked in our group as an alumnus Master of Engineering student and now mentors for the BRAVO team. Chester serves the Innovation Team at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America as a Product Designer over the last three years, where he developed several Mercedes-Benz’s future transportation concepts, including URBANETIC Cargo Van and Project Cargo Recognition & Organization System (CoROS).

He has developed the initial concept of URBANETIC with Molee, the Mobile Locker Experience, which allows personalized delivery services and reinventing ways of package exchanging experiences. Chester created the entire user flow of Molee, UI mockups and user tests, autonomous van concepts, and branding and design guidelines. Molee has later been developed as the Vision URBANETIC from Mercedes-Benz, a visionary mobility concept for urban areas featuring an intelligent swap body and integrated system.

Chester has also worked as the main decisive designer of Project CoROS, an intelligent cargo space platform service with computer vision and artificial intelligence. Chester established all initial designs of the CoROS platform, varying from station loading/field delivery user flow to fleet manager/driver UI.

“I am proud that I am a part of Mercedes-Benz as a designer, sketching out to define future transportation.” -Chester Cho
